About Chris

Sometimes you have to fail hard in order to grow. This is my story.

Hi, if we haven’t met before, my name is Chris King. I’m told I’m a pretty nice guy, a solid web designer, and more recently a very experienced accessibility testing professional. I like to tell people that while I think that is all true 😉  I also have mild neurological condition called autism spectrum disorder (ASD). But most people can’t tell because my passion and love of all people and conversation almost always overshadow it.

In my career I have mastered the art of making sure websites and applications meet WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) accessibility standards. During my 5 years testing websites I have become a certified CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) by IAAP (the International Association of Accessibility Professionals) staying up-to-date with the latest accessibility standards and best practices. I’ve tested probably hundreds of web pages and applications, making all of them more WCAG compliant every time. I’ve also conducted many workshops and training sessions on accessibility best practices.

Want to know more? Please feel free to reach out any time. I pride myself on being open and transparent, and will always to my best to answer any questions you have.
